Questions
How are the weekly sessions structured?
We begin with a connection question and time for group members to share updates about their progress. We use the first half of the session to debrief our experience with the practice from the previous week, and the discuss the new topic for the week during the second half.
Is this group therapy?
No. While we discuss research findings and insights from positive psychology, the Positive Decluttering Group is a facilitated support group, not group therapy.
How much does it cost?
The cost for the 10-week Positive Decluttering Group is $249, which comes out to $25 per session. If this cost does not work for you, send me an email at dltdecluttering@gmail.com to explore sliding scale and scholarship options.
What is the refund policy?
You can cancel your registration for a full refund up to 24 hours before the start of the first session. If you'd like to cancel your registration at any point after that, you'll receive a 50% refund.
What if I have to miss a session?
The sessions are not recorded to protect the privacy and confidentiality of participants. Each week, participants receive an email that provides a summary of the weekly topic and recommendations for practice.
What are the technological requirements?
The Positive Decluttering Group meets weekly on Zoom. To participate fully in the group, it's recommended that you join on a computer with stable internet connection. While not ideal, group members are able to call into the Zoom meeting from their mobile phone.
